Digital Coloring Technique help?

What do you guys think of my coloring, I'm currently using Microsoft Paint to ink and color all of my works.

I'd like to know what you guys think of my coloring technique. I know it needs work, I wouldn't be writing this if it didn't.

So please be honest with me, I think it's good, but unfinished. I really need to get a good photo editor and learn to color more smoothly, otherwise I can learn to perfect my pictures using Microsoft paint.
